About Us:

Why are we different? Well, because whether you come for a relaxing weekend, to celebrate your wedding, or to spend your business gathering, you will do it in the GREATEST STYLE with the LOWEST CARBON FOOTPRINT.

How do we do this? We are happy to give away our secrets since our dream would be for everybody to do the same! So come and experience spaces built with natural materials found on site, a kitchen where all is cooked from scratch and the waste is recycled to the maximum, where electricity and heat is provided by brother sun and organic soil fills our pantry... what is more, find the time to attend one of our workshops and you will be able to actually take all of this knowledge home and help us spread the word!

Now, you might be imagining leather sandals and brown rice bowls ah? Well, do come this way and let us introduce you to the world of ECO CHIC! We provide our guests the opportunity to experience the delights of nature while respecting it, without giving up on quality.

Facilities & Services:

1. New restaurant on the waterfront, with a well taken care of beach with lounge chairs
2. New dorm/family room for up to 9 people with a veranda packed with hanging orchids and a fire place
3. New cabin for 4 people with outside bathroom.
4. We provide massage and spa services – facials, hair cuts, manicures, pedicures, hot tub and sauna-, excursions, cultural tours, and yoga – have a new wooden yoga studio with gorgeous views for the lake
5. Also we are hosting weddings, events, workshops and yoga retreats

Rates:

• Single cabin with shared bathroom: $30
• Single cabin with private bathroom: $40
• Double or twin cabin with shared bathroom: $35
• Double or twin cabin with private bathroom: $45
• Triple cabin with shared bathroom: $45
• Triple cabin with private bathroom: $55
• Cabin for 4 people with shared bathroom: $55
• Family sized rooms for 4-6 people, with en-suite bathrooms and private terrace area $75 for the room, for up to 6 people
• An extra bed in these rooms: $10 more

From 22nd of December until the 6th of January and Easter Week:

• $50/60 single (shared/private bathroom)
• $55/65 double (shared/private bathroom)
• $65/75 triple (shared/private bathroom)
• $120 for the family-style rooms (up to 6 adults)

• Children under the age of 5 are free.
• Prices include taxes and internet access on our lobby computer.

Of Special Note:
At Islaverde you will find no TVs but plenty of books and games, no air conditioning but the fresh breeze of the Lake and a cozy fireplace, no roads but gorgeous paths and a wonderful lake front garden from where to sunbathe and swim... Islaverde is the hotel where you will live without the constriction of time, where you will enjoy an organic life style in harmony with nature, while every single details has been carefully taken into account./p>

How to find us:
From Antigua or Guatemala City there are shuttles to Panajachel, the main town on Lake Atitlan (go to TransportGuatemala.com). Ask to be dropped off at the Tzanjuyu dock. There you can get a public "taxi boat" ($2) or a private boat ($12) to Santa Cruz (about 15 minutes by boat) and have them take you directly to the Isla Verde dock, 400m past the Santa Cruz dock. Leave your bags there and we will have them brought to your room. If you need any further directions please e-mail us below and we will be happy to help you.

Reservation Policy:

This reservation service is free, as the non-refundable 10% deposit is credited against the total value of your reservation. It is required in order to block your space and confirm your reservation with the balance of 90% due upon your arrival with us.

We may require additional payments to hold your particular reservation up to and including a full 100% prepayment depending upon the details of your reservation. You will be advised of these additional reservation payments (if any) before you are asked to make any confirmation deposit

Cancellation Policy:
After reservation, you are free to cancel for any reason and without penalty up to three days prior to schedule arrival. Any later cancellation or a no-show will cause a billing of one night's lodging per the terms of your confirmed reservation unless otherwise stated in your reservation confirmation.
