About Us:

Jenna's is conveniently located half a block from Lake Atitlan.

Close to restaurants, the natural reserve and galleries, Jenna's bed and breakfast is a comfortable and homey place to go forth from to explore the Mayan villages around the lake.

• The house is all on one floor, a Spanish style building with lovely gardens and terraces.
• The property has 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms.
• The first bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a queen size bed and a day bed which can accommodate a third person.
• The second bedroom has a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom.

Breakfast and Dinner

A full breakfast is served every morning. This varies from an old fashioned English breakfast or fresh crepes, yogurt, fruits and granola. Home-made jams, chutneys and fresh home-made bread are standard fare as is the typical Guatemalan breakfast with beans, fried plantains, scrambled eggs and cream. We get fresh tortillas from next door and of course, there is always lots of wonderful fresh fruit.

Dinners are also available upon request. The international menu includes dishes from Morocco, Italy and France. Of course traditional Guatemalan dishes are also available.

Relax in the Living Room

The living room is large and comfortable with French doors leading to the garden terrace. There is an extensive collection of music to play as well as many movies to watch.

If you want to catch up on your email, there is a computer for client's use and free Wifi. A full bar is available for guests to help themselves to and is managed on a trust basis. The aim of this Bed and Breakfast is for people to feel that it's a home away from home and that you can go forth to explore and visit the area and come back to somewhere comfy.

Panajachel is a convenient stepping-stone to the villages around Lake Atitlan, with their colourfully dressed Mayan people living at the base of three volcanoes and a variety of interesting day trips into the highlands of Guatemala. Panajachel boasts of a number of good restaurants and galleries. There are many day trips you can make: boats to any of the towns around the lake, buses and shuttles to Chichicastenango or Antigua. There is much to see and do.

Whether you are taking a trip to get away from it all, or to enjoy the diversities of an enthralling part of Guatemala, our B & B is a comfortable haven to go forth from.
